Description

The main purpose of the Officer, Financial Resources & Analysis position is to support Unit Head, Financial Resources & Analysis in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. The roles involve providing critical financial insights, managing financial resources and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in managing financial resources, including cash flow, investments, and working capital.
  • Monitor financial health and liquidity of the company by supporting unit head to develop liquidity back up or contingency plans to meet any shortfalls in liquidity. 
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision making. This includes analyzing financial data, analyzing trends and providing insights to the unit head.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial data, provide analysis and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assists in developing financial models for financial deals with banks.
  • Assists in executing trade finance, financing, and foreign exchange deals with banks.
  • Assist in analyzing new projects requirement and specifications to understand the scope of work, collaborate with the relevant teams to gather cost information for labor equipment and overheads.
  • Assist in creating detailed cost estimates and breakdowns for each aspect of the project.
  • Reviewing and analyzing supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Developing cost models and scenarios to support bid decision and negotiations.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.
