Job Summary:

Experienced HSE Supervisor to oversee and ensure the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards during rig move operations. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience in drilling or rig move logistics, particularly in compliance with Saudi Aramco and local HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor all HSE aspects during rig move operations, including dismantling, transportation, and rig-up at the new site.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company HSE policies, Saudi Aramco standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct pre-job safety meetings (toolbox talks) and risk assessments (JSA, HIRA).
  • Inspect lifting operations, load securing, crane activities, and transportation routes for potential hazards.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and audits to identify unsafe practices and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Liaise with Rig Move Supervisors, Logistics Coordinators, and Contractors to ensure all operations are carried out safely.
  • Maintain and update incident/accident reports, near misses, and safety performance data.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HSE training for crews involved in rig moves.
  • Ensure proper PPE usage, permit-to-work system, and emergency preparedness during all rig move phases.
  • Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and client representatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience, with at least 2 years in Rig Move Operations.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification is required.
  • Valid H2S, First Aid, and Fire Fighting certifications are preferred.
  • Prior experience working with or under Saudi Aramco projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of lifting operations, transport safety, and hazard identification.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
